Two Teachers, One Mind

I grew up in my mom's 1st grade classroom. I can still remember the smell of glue on construction paper projects, the feel of chalk on my fingers, and the sounds and smells of the ditto machine. I look back on those days fondly and value all of the time we got to spend together. It is because of my mom that I, myself, became a teacher. One of the many things that we have in common is a love of creating things. Our latest idea is to combine her expertise of primary education and child development with my expertise in science to create curriculum that is accessible to the younger audience. Most importantly, we are having a blast, and as an added bonus, we have an excuse to talk on the phone multiple times a day now! :)
